Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Union Parish Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be kept as needed to prepare and send a response. It remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may receive routine technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics

No Criminal-Record Data on File
This site does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. It identifies official Union Parish channels, including the Sheriff's Office, Third Judicial District Court, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information, and Louisiana State Police State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. A partner's privacy policy, retention terms, and disclosure practices govern information entered into its tool. Those rules are outside this site's control, so review them before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Union Parish Sheriff, court portals, Louisiana agencies, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
An advertising provider may use its own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing takes place on the provider's systems.
